On 28 November 2018, the My Place project was launched with an afternoon of inspiring talks, workshops and networking to support the professional development of artists/creatives interested in working with early years and family audiences.
Speakers included:
- Penny Hay (5x5x5=creativity, Bath Spa University)
- Dr Catherine Lamont-Robinson (artist mentor)
- Kirsty Klaxton (artist)
- Lucy Cassidy (artist)
- Sally Jaeckle (Head of Early Years, Bristol City Council)
- Amy Harrison (Head of Learning and Participation, Architecture Centre).
The event included the launch of the Architecture Centre’s My Place artist commission, working with Bristol City Council’s Children’s Centres.
